Anthony Gormley has produced this sculpture for the south-west tower of St Paul's Cathedral. 'I hope that what it does is it amplifies what's already here,' he says, 'this extraordinary space which is in a way created by gravity and geometry ... This is the register of a falling body - Newton's apple but in human form - but created as an energy field'.
