Almost 350 years after it was first published, the Book
of Common Prayer is to be studied in a day-long conference in
Cambridge this month. Organised by the Ely Branch of the
Prayer Book Society, Hallowed Expressions: Re-appreciating the
beauty, faith and piety of the Prayer Book in a post-modern world
aims to take a new look at the 1662 book.
