It has been well publicised that 2009 is the bicentenary of
Charles Darwin's birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication
of his On the Origin of Species. Less well known is the fact that
this year is also the 800th anniversary of the University of
Cambridge. The three things come together with the Darwin Festival
