A handful of great new releases this month continue to prove
that grown-up music doesn’t need to be be ‘easy listening’.
That’s not to say that Feist‘s Metals
isn’t a pleasure to listen to. Her voice is as gorgeous as
ever and the production has interesting textures and a roomy, live
feel to it. Plus the songs are delicious. There are fewer of the
out-and-out pop hits that were present on previous album
