As a non-religious person, my main hope with regard to religion
in the coming decade is that it doesn’t get us all killed. This is
beginning to seem like a utopian dream, but it would be nice.
The name ‘the noughties’ for the era now Twittering out sounds
fun and flippant, and is gruesomely inappropriate for the decade
that escalated a global religious war. The destruction of the World
